Pine Forecast is a free, informational outdoor trip-planning website. This policy explains, in plain language, what information is involved when you use the site.
Information you enter
The crowd calculators run in your browser. The choices you make, such as a destination, date, and preferences, are used to produce an estimate on your device. We do not require an account to use the tools.
Email you send us
If you email us, we receive your message and email address so we can read and reply. We use that information only to respond to you.
Analytics and cookies
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will use them to keep the site free and will update this policy to describe what they collect. Any such tools may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser.
Third-party links
We link to official park, resort, weather, and travel resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Children
Pine Forecast is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
